Ooo yes, this is a great explanation! I’ve often used the ant and the bees as a analogy for civilization, but the decentralized nature of this intelligences is a novel twist I hadn’t yet explored. It is coherent. Collectively along with the intelligence of the planet decide what can be sustained, what cannot, and what do next. I’d like to go one step further, and call a larger branch of that process, evolution.

Well written essay but whether we're building a monster or mirror depends on the purpose AI is used and built for. A.I has impacted many fields including education. Nowadays, there are even A.I tools to generate thesis and dissertations for students! Also, A.I has a huge environmental impact. Yes, A.I can be useful, but only with proper safeguards to prevent misuse and negative impacts.
I just wish that more people were not so afraid of AI. They don't see the potential if things are handled correctly. Of course the problem is. The current corporations are not handling things correctly.

I think a lot of people fear change itself. Fear of the unknown .
